The service

Recapcast is a Chrome extension. It summarizes discussion threads and articles and reads the summary aloud. Summaries are written by software, including AI models, and can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important against the original page.

Free use

Quick mode and the use of your own Gemini key are free. The free AI recaps are a limited daily allowance. We may change the allowance or pause it, for example when demand is very high.

Recapcast Plus

Price and billing: Plus costs $4.99 a month or $39 a year, plus any tax that applies. The first 100 yearly subscribers pay a founding price of $29 a year, which stays the same for as long as that subscription continues. Plus renews automatically each month or year until you cancel, and Stripe processes the payments.
What you get: Plus includes 150 AI recaps a month. Up to 20 of them use the deepest model; after that, recaps use the faster model. Unused recaps do not carry over.
Cancelling: you can cancel any time from Manage Plus, in the extension's settings. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds: if something went wrong, email admin@aimasterz.com within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it.
Your membership: it is tied to the extension install you bought it on. If you reinstall, email us and we will move it over.

Fair use

Do not try to get around the limits: no automated requests, no sharing install credentials, and no reverse engineering of the service's protections. We may suspend access that abuses the service.

Content

Recapcast processes pages you choose to summarize. You are responsible for having the right to view them. Summaries and quotes stay subject to the rights of the original authors and sites.

No warranty and limits

Recapcast is provided "as is", without warranties. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date, and show any material change in the extension before it applies.
